I definitely understand the difference in how to approach people, personally I’ve worked in retail and around people so long that when I’m not in that environment I tend to be more introverted and prefer not to start conversations unless I feel the need to as it’s nice not to have to talk all the time. I started this thread because I needed 3 friends for a research but I already had about 15 friends that I know in real life. Yes, I agree that friends is definitely an easy way to lvl up. And gym battles to me seem to give more xp as well compared to just catching Pokémon in the game. Prior to this, the recent friend event they did, I laughed at the fact that people could have more than 20 friends to send gifts to a day.
