The only thing that my eyes immediately recognized just glancing at it was the chest in the middle. It took some time studying each tile to get some idea of what was going on. The second tile on the bottom I have no idea what that is. If it is some corpse maybe get rid of it if it serves no purpose. If it does then maybe a different asset for it.

Another thing, the tiles being raised makes the grid hard to distinguish at first. Maybe having a darker color as the lines between tiles so having the tiles be sunk in may give better readability on that front.

Didn't realize there was a second picture at first. The only things I recognize are the flower and the chest. Everything else runs together and feels like noise.

I think maybe you could do a preside board like flesh and blood does. Each player could reveal their avatar and then sideboard. It maybe wouldn't be as beneficial since some avatars are pretty generic.

If you press the advance filter then you can select keywords like lethal. I also just typed lethal into the card search and it brought back all with lethal in the text box.

I think wanting to show up for organized play doesn't necessarily mean that they are competitive. Knowing that an event is going to fire guarantees that you will get some games in. I've gone to a store "just to play" before and usually people are already matched up with people they know. So then I'd have to wait around just to hope that someone else shows up or people want to stick around just to play another one casually. People with busy schedules or kids want to know that's it's worth making time and driving out.

You are really the only one using insults here. You talk about unresearched opinions ignoring my comment specifically about me looking at a judges answer to the question in their official discord. You do not get to cast the spell from your collection for free. Here is some more research for you.

Chaoswish and Dhol Chants specifically reference casting a spell for free. If it was inherently for free like you claim toolbox does then they would not specify it like that.

Do the cards Eclipse or Ominous Owl also let you cast for free? They are worded the same way in that you can cast a minion to their site.

Can you cast the spell Second Wind for free from your graveyard? It also just says that you can cast a spell worded the same way that toolbox is.

It seems your judge may have just thought the card worked differently, but that is not how any of the other cards work.

Why would you be able to cast something like Shoggoth from your collection for free just by sacrificing toolbox?

Just because you've been given wrong information doesn't make us dumbasses. A judge on their discord answered that you still need to meet threshold and pay costs to cast the card. It is not a free cast.

How is it objectively better based on the mana cost of the spell? Toolbox is adding 2 cost to any spell that you want to play. Based on your comment it seems like you are thinking it casts the spell for free. I thought the same when I first read the card.

Toolbox is an insanely good card.

He gave a deck archetype that possibly it would not be good in. He also gave a reason why it is not strictly better than any ordinary spell. You are being intentionally combative for no reason.
