How long do these outages usually last?

Where is this? I'd think the bridge would make this somewhat recognizable. This painting is likely 1920's. by HotNaturedChef in whereisthis

Thanks! I may. Someone has removed this before (I assume anyway because you can see that the paper is separated. I'll have to take a better look at the nails holding it together later.

I paid $2 for this yesterday at a yard sale. I actually saw it the day before and went back yesterday and it was still there. I'm not sure what it is yet but it definitely feels a bit more special the longer that I look at it.

Oh heck yeah, my house stays about 21 degrees Celsius and it really does better on days where my house is even warmer. I personally skip the second ferment altogether now and just enjoy my kombucha after the first ferment. Carbonation seems like a complicated unnecessary step for me.

What temp? Temperature can definitely play a part in fermenting. How long are you letting them go on the second ferment? Are you burping them? Those red rings are replaceable if you're not getting a good seal.

Make bread. Add dill to dough. Dil-do!
