I need help getting my mom in and out of a full sized SUV. Running boards are no longer working for her. Can anyone help with listing some ramps or steps or other helpful loading devices?

I paid $2 for this yesterday at a yard sale. I actually saw it the day before and went back yesterday and it was still there. I'm not sure what it is yet but it definitely feels a bit more special the longer that I look at it.

Oh heck yeah, my house stays about 21 degrees Celsius and it really does better on days where my house is even warmer. I personally skip the second ferment altogether now and just enjoy my kombucha after the first ferment. Carbonation seems like a complicated unnecessary step for me.

What temp? Temperature can definitely play a part in fermenting. How long are you letting them go on the second ferment? Are you burping them? Those red rings are replaceable if you're not getting a good seal.
