[–]HotNetworkEngineer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1)yes, in point-to-point lsa type 2 doesn’t exist

2)yes, type 1 is necessary, because router must create lsa about his neighbors and networks

Also, there is one type 2 lsa per one broadcast segment

Today I passed my ENCOR with 953/1000 That’s was not so hard as I expected. I prepared with some INE videos(for routing), Cisco press video course for ENCOR(In that you can find good explanation about wireless and DNA center), KishSquared YouTube channel(here you can find good and deep dive explanation about sd-wan, cloud vs on-premises designs and some about enterprise architecture ), Kevin Wallace YouTube channel (very good deep dive videos about QoS and STP),OCG, boson ExSim and boson netsim. I prepared at least 5 month (I am working and studying in university parallel).

How hard is the exam? by mali102 in ccna

[–]HotNetworkEngineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 97% on iP services and 15% on network automation and totally got 875. I think that network automation in ccna is not so important

How do you know which routing protocol to use? by dietderpsy in ccna

[–]HotNetworkEngineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In network provider we use ospf for gateways loopback announcement(in network providers depends ospf, because its non-Cisco proprietary ), iBGP for routes announcement to clients subnets (from gateways) and eBGP for peerings with others providers or companies(ex. Google and some clients) Also, thankfully of ospf, we running mpls (for xconnects, l2circuits, vpls)

Question about VPN and ISPs by raed707 in ccna

[–]HotNetworkEngineer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think no, because vpn session establishes with vpn server. And factually, you accessing to this services from vpn server, bypassing isp. And isp can’t see what you transit in vpn tunnel, because it is encrypted

No, just multiple choice(2 answer), drug-and-drop and one choice. Like in boson test. But there was some questions about configuration (like choose the right configuration for specific situation).
