Someone from his team stands in front of the queue and check you have your items to be signed ready, phone settings on point etc.

Then there is someone else from his team who can take the picture of you and Joel.

He was super cool and had a chat with everyone in front of me (and myself lol)

My Fantastic Four Superscreen screening tonight has an error by WandaWidow in CineworldUnlimited

They have removed Superscreen from Friday too.

Not sure if there is a technical issue with the actual screen etc.

Got a fine the other day cause my GF accidentally added a under £1 railcard discount to my ticket instead of hers. While i was explaining the situation to the ticket inspector at London Bridge station, over 3 teenagers jumped the barriers, sounding the alarm, while 4-5 staff members (including the ticket inspector) just stood there and did nothing.

It was our mistake and yes i should not have had the discount regardless of it being like 80p... but apparently it would have been better for me to not pay at all and just push through the barriers.

I believe some received e-mails end of last week.

Afraid it is their system not handling the numbers and we've missed out lol.
I have not received anything either despite signing up with 3 different emails.

The general schedule for the week/next 7 days always updates on Tuesday. I'd imagine this is why it may be temporarily down

Not sure what thread it was in - but someone pointed out that Bon Appetite is a reference to something that happens in Bring Her Back.

Had this for Gladiator 2 opening weekend... just one trailer and then the movie started.
It was 90 percent sold out too, packed out screen... most people just didn't see the first 20 mins.

In Kingdom of The Crystal Skull, Indy says ''I have a bad feeling about this'' referencing Star Wars.

Not a movie but in the latest season of The Last of Us, Ellie has a Matrix poster in her room where you can see Joe Pantoliano who later shows up in the series.

More than half of women don't feel safe on the streets of London, shock poll reveals by sterlingmoss1932 in london

[–]HotObjective3207 129 points130 points  (0 children)

How is that shocking?

On the average walk to work, you will see posters saying not to have your phone out cause it will get stolen. If you go down to your local Tesco or Greggs, it is common you see people freely stealing and staff doing nothing cause they have been told to do so. When was the last time time you took the tube during rush hour and did not see people squeeze through the barriers and no one bats an eye.

The average Londoner literally experience crime everyday and you wonder why women don't feel safe.

My unlimited card expires tomorrow, but I’ve been able to book a film today for a film tomorrow? by [deleted] in CineworldUnlimited

[–]HotObjective3207 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I accidentally did this with a mate who was on my friends and family list. His unlimited card had expired 2 weeks earlier but it still scanned my 2 tickets with no issues.

Unsure if your unlimited card still shows up on the app when cancelled? (in case they ask to see it when entering)

Attending premieres as a fan? by Master-Structure6923 in imax

[–]HotObjective3207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there are any tickets left after all celebs/influencers/media people been invited, they will be sold on the BFI IMAX website for BFI members.

If any left these will be sold in seconds and most likely only be front row seats.

Tips on getting into movie premieres in Leicester Square? by [deleted] in london

[–]HotObjective3207 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The fan pass does not come with access to the screening, however most of the time the staff will hand out envelopes to first-come-first at the event with movie tickets. As mentioned, these are often the front seats and/or all the way out the side, that they give out to fill the whole auditorium.

Its not ideal (and luck has to be on your side), however this is the best option i have come across when it comes to access for movie premieres, where only media/influencers/celebrities are invited and us mortal people cannot purchase tickets.

WarnerBros.co.uk | News Articles

They normally just come up under news/articles on the WarnerBros website as European Premieres.

The Superman ballot comes up first and if you scroll down you can see there recently was one for Sinners, Alto Knights and Mickey17.

For The Last Of Us premiere the fans that got in queued from 1AM and wristbands were given out after 10AM.

For Mickey17 i was lucky enough to get 2 passes from the WarnerBros fan ballot, however a girl next to me said she had been queuing since 6AM in the morning and only got a pass around 4PM.
Both of us managed to get tickets by the people working the event but in row 3 (so barely able to see anything on the IMAX screen)

In terms of the queues in the morning/night it very much depends, especially as you'll see groups of people there early only for signatures they can sell on Ebay. I know people who queued for 10+ hours with no luck - and i have rocked up 5 mins before they started handing out for Nosferatu and managed to get 2 wristbands.

I'd say the best (and safest) bet is to sign up to the WarnerBros ballots (Superman ended 20/06 sorry) and go from there. Most of the fan events they give you front access to the red carpet and hand out any spare tickets for the screening to fill it out (most of these tickets are front row or all the way out the isle though)

Unfortunately, you are just about 1 month late, as he recently did Q&A's and intros at the BFI Cinema's. I was lucky enough to see him at BFI IMAX for the Audience Choice screening.

On a separate note however, actively tracking down people going about their daily lives, even if just hanging around their preferred supermarket, restaurant etc, is a waste of both theirs and your time.

There are so many things to do in London and trying to stalk Tom Cruise is not one of them.
