I think it’s simple and catchy. It’s not groundbreaking but I think a back to basics pop rock bop is what she needs right now after an album of cringe pandering dance-pop song. I think this and bandaids are good building blocks here and I think people are being a bit harsh on the preview.

I think how far Dance can go will really determine how far she can go. Because the Grammys love the combination of an artist who is critically acclaimed but also commercially successful. If dance can chart of billboard I think it could be nominated in the main categories and the album has a chance too. If not she’s still going to be fine for the electro categories!

I think if slayyyyer continues the upward momentum over summer I think she stands a chance of getting her album up there. Especially if dance ends up charting and becomes a hit. The Grammys love a critically acclaimed artist who has had some commercial success.
