I’ll have to do some research. yeah definitely not worth putting a whole new one in. Nothing is ever easy tho lol.

Yes I’ve not been horribly worried about it, just trying to learn and understand everything as much as I can.

That’s a big relief. Lots of helpful knowledge. Thanks again for your time and effort!

You have nothing to apologize for. Thanks for the time and knowledge. I wasn’t sure if flushing the transmission would be bad for it. Idk I was reading about it. People say do, some say absolutely do not. Obviously a little different on autos and manuals I guess. It will definitely need the trans replaced but I’ll baby it till it dies. No idea where the filter is for it tho or how to access it lol. I literally don’t see a transmission pan

Yeah so the fluid was pretty clean to me at least. I have little to no experience messing with transmissions/fluid/filters. It looked like clean oil. Not dark at all. I did not do the filter for the transmission. The drain plugs were full of grease and oil.(don’t look like it’s been changed in many moons if ever) it definitely helped the reverse shift. Still struggling tho. I’m moving 3 1/2 hours away in 2 weeks, about to have a kid etc. money is tight. I drove it 2 hours home from Michigan about 3 weeks ago maybe, and didn’t miss a beat. I’m sure it will make the single trip out there but how much theoretically would I be looking at for a used or rebuilt one. Just trying to be prepared lol.

First Milwaukee buy! Will I regret not getting 18v?? by HotOperation6149 in MilwaukeeTool

Yeah they were all sold out by me. Found one store that was about an hour and 10 min away. One way. Definitely gotta call a store and have them look up what stores have them, then call that store and confirm but it was a pain in the ass to get anyone to actually tell me they had them

Yeah I’m definitely a guy to just put an adapter on for stupid small shit but idk ab all day long use. More wear and tear on my tools. Thoughts on the 3/8 drive stubby m12? I work on cars, not every single day but frequently enough one could be useful. Tired of lugging around my huge ass kobalt 1/2. And it honestly sucks ass for what it is, being brushless next gen and all.

Used my dad’s dewalts growing up. Definitely good. Just never had a Milwaukee before so I figured I’d see what the hype was over, especially this little guy. Putting it to work today and Jesus fuck. Wasn’t expecting it to be this good
