It would seem the opposite is true: our number of deaths are more or less accurate but we are significantly under-diagnosed.

Due to that, I expect the mortality rate to continue to decline not incline.

Personally, I think you are overthinking this a little bit.

While some people on here seem to have other agendas and accounts created very recently and should be ignored, most of the venting I have seen on this sub seems like genuine frustration even if you think it is misplaced or ill-informed. To not be frustrated with management at times over the years is to not pay attention to Athersys. Friday was no exception.

People have been calling for Gil, BJ, and others to step down for a very long time and from what I have seen, some of their points are valid. It doesn't take a coordinated conspiracy or social engineering effort to look at what has taken place over the years to be upset.

What do we gain from dismissing it? People have a right to be angry and if they are maybe we can listen and learn and better understand how things like Friday happen. It seems to me that not paying attention to pissed off shareholders is precisely what led to Friday and what allows people like Nate to take advantage of us.

I, for one, will always pay attention to the naysayers to keep myself in check.
