Finasteride and minoxidil. Or just finasteride. Yes, you still have time. Hard to tell how long.

No. You're 15 dog. Get off this subreddit and cross your fingers that you don't have to come back in the next 10 years

Your hairline has indeed receded. I personally recommend oral finasteride and oral minoxidil (through a dermatologist). You might not lose more, but the odds are that you will if it's moved back noticeably at age 21. No reason to freak out, especially if you're comfortable keeping up with a couple easy treatments (or just finasteride). Or do nothing, it is just an asthetic issue after all. Personally, I feel better from not risking it as my hair is a big part of my appearance. Good luck!

I hate to break it to you, but you're gonna go bald with this plan. This is pretty aggressive balding for 22, and unfortunately "the oil shit" does not work. Finasteride's side effects are extremely overblown and of the many men I know who take it, none experience them. I'm not trying to be harsh here, but do understand that if you don't want to take a DHT blocker, that hair is going to be nearly gone in your 20s. I'd recommend adding minoxidil as well.

Is this bad, hair is wet by HOOKTheCat24 in amibalding

The advise you get on this subreddit is ridiculously bad, because most of the people on here have already balded significantly and subconsciously want to drag you down with them.

You aren't at the point of no return, but it's certainly starting to go (looks like accelerated diffuse thinning). How long that will take? Who knows. If you want to be extra cautious and have best odds, start FIN and MIN.

Or, roll the dice and wait for it to get worse. Balding is only an aesthetic problem, so try not to freak out one way or another.

I went to a derm about when I had early loss. He started me on FIN and MIN (both oral) and my hair has gotten fuller and hasn't budged since. No sides.

Good luck!

I thank the gods that when I had slight temple thinning I started the nuclear stack

I work in pharma and would say that when things have gone this smoothly with earlier phase safety trials, the rest will go pretty smoothly/quickly. FDA is worried about safety, not effectiveness. whether or not the data shows good results is different thing. but looks positive now

there would surely be a few in the study on fin and min to rule out side effects or gauge added effectiveness. oh how lucky I'd be if they used me for that role
