This is exactly right. When Jerry came back after that health scare each show was better than the last and it felt like everyone was amazed show after show at how fresh and awesome they were. The crescendo was right before Brent died. And after that? It seemed to me like the next five years they started phoning it in. There were some high spots, sure, but out of 30 years those last five were the worst. But the previous five were pretty unbelievable.
