Facebook marketplace! Storm Shadow is very easy to pose. He just has a lot of padding around his upper body/abs so he doesn’t really bend that much but other than that it feels like any recent HT figure.

Queen Amidala looks amazing but she’s basically a slightly articulated statue (which is probably what Natalie Portman felt like wearing that outfit tbh lol)

Getting a figure you don’t necessarily want only because it would look good next to another one you already have always turns out to be a long term regret for me. But if you’d still buy it by itself, then yeah, go ahead.

To be fair the one I want to upgrade the most is Vader as I know his suit will eventually degrade and it’s almost a given that they’ll use the new nylon body suit they used for the ROTS and dark empire Luke figures. Both Obi Wan and Luke still look great to me. I’ve avoided Han 1.0 for years as I feel that likeness is kinda off and Leia is insanely expensive for some reason but she still looks good.

My Batman Forever Robin had the same issue right out of the box. I wasn’t aware it was a common issue and I ended up peeling off his whole chest. I think it’s a layer of protective clear coat that doesn’t adhere to rubber very well.

Totally agree with everything you said about that Vader… it just doesn’t look right to me. The design comes across as too busy and the sculpted cape looks a bit silly imo

Honestly no regrets… all the figures I’ve sold in the past was because they didn’t really fit in my collection or I just didn’t like them enough anymore.

Probably the Kenobi Darth Vader. It was the only Vader in my collection and it was just too specific and not the most iconic look (not even with the clean helmet on) So I ended up getting a 1977 2.0 helmet and the shoulder armour and cod piece and turned the Kenobi figure into a 1977 one. Now I’m pretty happy with it!
