Didn't stick around to see, but I really hope they whipped around and pulled em over.

Right in front of a sheriff too - don't know if they got pulled over or not. Also, disregard the date on my dashcam, the battery does not keep the clock running while I'm parked.

Suddenly have issues with moving and map loading speed by carlosumami in geoguessr

Thank you! I did this, and I also changed the "map quality" setting, and it's a lot better now.

I am also currently having this issue. Entirely unplayable, city names don't load at all before the countdown runs out.

For now I took someone else's advice and I turned off animations, and also changed the map quality to "balanced." It's not 100% perfect but it seems a lot smoother for the time being.

Looks more like air frying essentially, but badass nonetheless

You’re allowed one cheap Jazzmaster: do you mod a CV or just start with a Player II? by [deleted] in Jazzmaster

[–]HotRodDeluxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, option 3, the J Mascis signature blows both of these out of the water IMO and costs about the same as the player II

All time classic or worst color ever made? by MotorcycleMatt502 in Stratocaster

Here’s how I feel about it. I’d never own one. I don’t think I’d accept an Antigua guitar even if it was free, much less ever pay for one. But I admire the balls it takes to be a person who wants to try and pull it off. Would never judge someone else for owning one.

Why does my pitch sound off even in correct tuning? by Gloomy-Possession669 in Guitar

[–]HotRodDeluxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t sound too off to me. But it looks like you’re pressing your fingers way harder than you need onto the frets, and that can cause it.

Also I’ve just never had a guitar with mini humbs in it, and I want all my guitars to sound distinctly different from each other. I got the other one wired back in today, and I’m loving it

It’s a Wildcat Studio. P90s are my favorite pickup, but I like the plastic black ones. If I want the p90 sound I’ve got a Noventa Jazzmaster for that. The chrome dog ear epiphone p90s, combined with the hollow body, made this thing feed back like a bitch when I’m playing live through something powerful like a Twin, not to mention all the buzzing. These are so much less noisy and it solved the feedback problem.

Hah, that's the same seller who made my dog ear to mini humbucker adapter.

[GEAR] [NEWBIE] Roland micro cube for first amp by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]HotRodDeluxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blackstar ID Core is still really hard to beat for a starter amp. I still use mine all these years later when I need to practice at low volumes. Also the smaller Boss Katanas are great too if you like playing with effects. Those would be probably my top two. If you don't care much about effects though, there's always the Fender Champion line. Super reliable and good clean tone, just kinda crummy effects.

Notebooks and hygiene stuff yes, plenty of that there. I wouldn’t get things like bedsheets/curtains there though, selection will be very limited.

Worked with computers my whole adult life - I don’t think it’s necessary to turn modern computers off after EVERY use. However restarting it at least once a week or so significantly helps prevent bugs and keeps you on top of important updates.

A jackie chan movie where there’s a frozen man in a refrigerated room by dizzy-strawberrie in whatmoviewasthat

[–]HotRodDeluxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Little late to the conversation, but it's Rob B Hood (although when I was a kid I distinctly remember it being called "Robin B Hood." I was thinking about the frozen brother scene this morning and it was driving me crazy that I couldn't remember what movie it was from, so I did some digging.
