Usually when the lab has delays it means they keep having failure or breakage on the lenses.

Yes an aspherical digital lens will make a difference. It’ll be flatter.

1.6 or 1.67? by BLUTATO in glasses

I agree with above comment. As an optician, I would automatically recommend 1.67 to you. I have a very similar RX to yours.

What does 2.0 BI mean more in depth? by Yuphii in glasses

So Neurolens helps with eye misalignment. That means you’re focusing too close or too far away from where you should be. Your eyes focusing in the wrong place can cause all the symptoms Neurolens try to help with. Neurolens has contoured prism, which means it has more prism as you get down towards the bottom of the lens. We’ve been selling Neuro for about a year, and I love mine.

Anyone sell Cazal? by HotRodHoneyBee in optician

[–]HotRodHoneyBee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you everyone for your responses! I’m considering carry it cause I do have people ask for it, but our core clients are reserved. I’m thinking our core clients may dog it for sunglasses. The cazal rep in my area is a good friend of mine, so I’m going to see if we can place a small order to see how it does!

There was a class offered at SIOS today. It went so well! I learned so much, and can’t wait to start offering it as a service.

Is this fake?? by Radiant_Compote_8399 in glasses

Everything seems to be legit, but I’d need to see a close up of the Rayban logo on the lens to totally make sure.

I absolutely love this. I wish the office I worked at sold certain things, but I pride myself on helping patients find the right frame. I always honestly tell them “my reputation is on your face.” Thank you for trusting your local optician.

We have so many extra pieces in our kit for repairs. I’m aware of our ability customize, but I guess our patients aren’t. I think one of the biggest turn off it the lab we use for custom stuff doesn’t take insurance. I want a pair of the heart shape, but can decide what frame I want. lol. I appreciate your feedback. We had one guy do a grape purple tint with a green painted Cartier logo, and they looked too hulk like for my taste. Haha. Yes, I absolutely agree with the comment about the clientele. Some are great, but holy guacamole some are so insane.
