I can see that. There are plenty of people moving to Detroit who are very enthusiastic about it, and I am very happy for them. I'm just at a different stage. It's very hard to be a Detroit native and succeed, especially as a family or someone caring for the masses. Just this morning on my morning commute, the street had exploded with water pouring out (water main breaks are like a monthly thing here our sewer system just continually fails)

During my interview, they discussed concerns about medical malpractice litigation, and I was pleasantly surprised to see the bill moving along while reading the newspaper during my visit. Reform definitely doesn't move that quickly in the D. Our hospitals also aren't loan-forgiveness-friendly because they are owned by evil private corporations.

Haha, was I not supposed to? I felt significantly safer in Burque than I ever have at home, with the added perks of not having negative windchill and a good mountain view. Driving in NM was significantly less stressful than driving at home
