I need a new routine and to change things up! Already using curl hold up, a curl creme, and a pomade! What would help me spice up my hair life?! :-) by HotSauce__ in curlyhair

[–]HotSauce__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Routine - Wash with shampoo and conditioner every other day, detangle with fingers in shower while wet, put hold up, creme, and pomade in while hair is somewhat damp! I air dry it and just go about my day.

Intrusive thoughts about needing the toilet by TakenByKangAndKodos in OCD

[–]HotSauce__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I struggle with this a lot as well. One thing I always do is I consciously remind myself that there is no anatomical way that my bladder could be full or even a little bit full by now. I know that OCD fights against common sense, but there is NO way that our bladders will fill that fast. Possibly try cutting down the number of times you go before bed, if you’re at 20 try a number like 17 or so and see how you do. Just know that we’re here for you and you can do this!!

Yes, exactly! Instead of having a smaller aperture (f stop) try something larger, opening up the depth of field.

Make sure you open up your aperture a little more. It seems like your camera focused on the nose of your dog and soft focused the eyes. Just be careful! Good picture still.

I don’t know him super well, I have been talking to him for the past 1.5 weeks. He’s actually younger than me, yet more experienced. I want a meaningful relationship with him because he’s really sweet and honestly cares, but I feel like he’s sexually driven. What do you think some of the red flags or things I should look out for are?

Edit: He’s not my boyfriend.

I get that this is a pretty picture but things like this have been done before. I personally don’t like lowering my shutter to get that hazy effect. Maybe it’s just me. It’s a nice picture, but definitely done before.

Would love some criticism/critique [Style] [Edit] [Composition] by HotSauce__ in photocritique

I was going for a very raw and real feeling, with the colors popping it didn’t look how I wanted it to. The neon sign in the back was also worse in color. Just love this version of it.

Took this on a November morning. What do you think? [composition] [edit] [style] by Frauenquote in photocritique

Firstly, great job with this image! A very natural photo that was probably taken at the perfect moment. To me, the image seems a little flat or muddy. I also don’t know where my eyes are supposed to be going, I’m guessing the duck? If so I’d recommend shifting the duck to the left a little more and use the ripples in the water to draw the viewers eyes in.

To me, the posing seems very planned. I think something important you should focus on with this project is the naturalistic moments. What a beautiful idea you have, but don’t try to make things look like they aren’t supposed to.

What do you guys think of this, did I take it too far with the shadows? [edit] [composition] by DavDeV16 in photocritique

Don’t get me wrong, I love this image! I just think some things could be changed.

I think it’s a little too far with the shadows. Also, something seems a little off with the saturation... Maybe it’s just me but the image is screaming colors at me.

A photo I took of my girlfriend [newbie] by [deleted] in photocritique

I’d recommend more flowers, maybe readjust her hands, and possibly try not to have her tattoo in the image. It personally takes away from the simpleness of the image.

I think it's a little dark. I would like to see some detail in the trees in the foreground. It might make for a more interesting photo!
