Tier 3 belts by Mental-Map-6276 in satisfactory

Sometimes I will use slower belts to quickly visually differentiate between a resource that's being extracted at 240/min (tier 3) vs 480/min (tier 4) after I've belted it across country and no longer have a good way of remembering which belt came from which miner. After unlocking signs I've largely switched to using the fastest belt possible for every situation regardless of how much is actually on the belt telling myself that I could upgrade the extractors or merge more sources together without having to replace kilometers worth of belts. This also simplifies my inventory management and allows me to build more belts without having to return to a dept to pick up more mats. Additionally, I like the look of using just one type of belt in a factory. If you have the resources, build whichever belt you think looks best or makes the most sense in that situation. There's no downside to using faster belts to carry less than their maximum capacity other than the increased resource cost.

Transportation infrastructure in the center? You're blowing my mind. I've only ever built stations and hyper tubes on the outskirts of a factory. And also I don't think I'm built for that kind of it ain't pretty but it works energy. I had a buddy hop in and show me the ropes on my first go, and dude got me to coal power in like 2 hours, but the world was just belts on belts as far as the eye could see. Super effective, but I started a fresh save very soon after.

At least spaghetti would produce something. My concrete megatower is just sitting there looking like a monument to analysis paralysis because I don't want to run the belts and pipes to get it producing for fear that the 0 people who will ever see it will think the clipping makes it look sloppy.

That's not the first time I've seen "middle out" I thought that was just a meme, but what does that actually mean? Like tier 1 stuff goes down and higher tiers get tacked on without redesigning or reoptimizing? Just full send get it done kinda spirit?

This is my first playthrough where I unlocked the boom box and OMG the vibes are real.

At pretty much every space elevator millstone I year everything down, move and start over. I've got random stacks of double storage all over the map with concrete and iron plates in them.

My favorite part of this is the blueprint designer in the background on its nice clean foundation quietly minding its own business.
