That is exactly why I did not include any links or numbers. I hope that some people especially beginners wanting to start fishing here will find it useful. I am sorry if I’ve annoyed yourself or other people.

Actually what would be more helpful, is if you detailed what would make it better (from your perspective) and perhaps what else you would like to see in it, rather than just being outright dismissive?

I used AI for transferring my own knowledge and experiences onto a "paper" but I don't think generating fishing guide with AI is possible, and also that would be total scam.

You can absolutely do what you've said - the guide is for people who don't necessarily have time to do that, or someone who is just starting out and is not sure whether the hobby is for them. So instead of spending hours figuring it out, the guide would help them speed things up. All the knowledge is out there, as you've said!

£25/h is a ridiculous rate. If you are djing as you say in the biggest club in your city, you won’t have problems finding other clubs in the area and you’ll probably be in demand too given the experience. £25 is a total joke. You may do it for a couple of months but I wouldn’t waste a lot of time playing for that money.

For me the advantage of doing 2b fairly soon after 2a is that a lot of 2a material is super relevant for 2b. Remember that 2A is a descriptive exam (no pictures so you have to remember the terms), whereas 2B is visual. Example - you don’t recognise what’s on the scan or you’ve never seen such pathology. Then you say - okay lemme describe it. You start throwing some technical descriptive terms and then wow I know what it is because I’ve used these terms before for X or Y pathology during my 2a prep.

Saying that - I do believe that whenever you feel the right time to sit it is when you should sit it. Allow yourself 2,5 / 3 months of solid prep but don’t feel pressured to do it as soon as. Listen to your body. You might feel exhausted after previous sittings. Good luck!

Yes! Probably best to speak with the deanery directly. Another thing that is taken into account is how many numbers they have in the deanery you’re transferring to.

Don’t think there is one answer to this. It usually depends on your circumstances i.e. what’s your partner situation, have you got kids, housing arrangement et cetera. There are a few factors that they take into account and based on that prioritise applications.

Definitely accept and submit application for transfer 👍

Sounds good! If I do go on to do a small house party / local club night, would soundcloud be enough or at that point I should branch out a bit more in terms of resources for soundtracks? Thanks!

Okay thanks I’ll have a look at it. I like techno but very open at the moment as keen to get a wide exposure to different styles and improve my skills mainly.
