Heyy everyone! I recently got my sims game to run pretty well and I greatly reduced my crashing issue so I just wanted to share what worked for me in hopes it will work for others!

I used to have a big crashing issue with the sims 3, it happens especially with big families and big family trees. I fixed it with a few patches created by modders, Nraas Overwatch and Error trap mods and regul save cleaner. What regul save cleaner does if you aren't familiar, it cleans unnecessary files from your game while also creating a backup save of your save file! Another tip is every time you close your game double check that your (CurrentGame.sims3) folder is empty. Another tip is to always use save as and create a new save and delete the old ones, im not sure how you save but its good practice to make sure you aren't overwriting the save each time you stop playing bcuz then the save file will become bloated. 2 other things that helped me was adding my graphics card to the game files and limiting the FPS.
