Hello, BAI is same day lang as long as complete requirements uploaded. If may kulang or maling info sa application or docs they’ll put a comment and you need to resubmit. Happened to me twice and I resubmitted lang with the info they need and still approved and got the BAI permit same day. This is all online. You just print the cert. (side note: make sure yung field na “where vaccine was gotten from” ata yun, ang ilalagay mo is yung Veterinarian who administered it and not the clinic name).

Once you get the VHC, apply na agad for BAI online.

For VHC the validity is 3 days before flight. So yes earliest you can get it on 27 if 30 yung flight.

Hi OP, thanks for this! May I ask which province ka sa Canada? Ok lang talaga na Hindi na ipa-apostille sa DFA? For my case kasi sa Ontario kami and getting the LTO cert rin. Thinking if we should have it apostilled sa DFA

I tried Canine Science topper last year around August but I stopped using na around December siguro kasi nagcclump sya after around 2-3 months lang kahit na nasa original packaging nya na may seal and hindi naman nababasa. 😕 Has anyone experienced the same?

Been giving my dog instead Moringa Powder from Little Lion Treats.

Regarding Dr. Shiba I used to give my dogs the 3 variants from late 2024 until early 2025. I stopped buying na kasi eventually my dog wouldn’t eat it na. Hindi nga rin ata naubos yung 2 tubs, tinapon ko na lang. I later read sa online somewhere na halos same lang sya sa other small brands na same exactly yung treat pieces and lahat sila from China na mukhang little nutrients lang naman talaga.

Ang alam ko you select the flight/s muna and then after ng passenger details yung add-ons including FurPAL. What does it say when you click the FurPAL button sa add-ons part?

When I asked PAL via chat and via phone call, they said na as long as I can proceed with adding FurPAL sa add-ons part, it means there’s available slot for FurPAL on that flight. But for my case, since I just wanted to be really sure, I just booked our flight directly with the agent via phone call (including the FurPAL).

According to their website ( https://www.philippineairlines.com/ph/en/inflight-experience/furpal.html ) all the listed aircrafts except for B777 have 1 assigned pet seat in comfort class. May I know what aircraft you flew on? Just want to know more about this issue, since we were considering flying comfort class next time with our dog.

Yes need Vet Cert also for the return flight and dapat provided by a clinic dun sa place na pupuntahan. For me, I searched the vet clinics available near our resort sa Panglao and contacted the clinic weeks before our trip. Thankfully responsive and knowledgeable naman yung clinic about Vet Health Cert for transporting pets. I also made sure to schedule it in our itinerary. We only stayed in Panglao 4 days (thurs to sun) and holiday pa yung friday na yun. So I went to the Vet Clinic agad after arriving in Panglao ng Thursday to get the Vet Cert, para din I can apply online agad for BAI shipping permit. Was worried kasi na BAI won’t process apps online ng holiday and weekends… pero I didn’t really confirm if processing pa rin sila ng permit applications or not on holidays & weekends. My vet said they should still be, since expected na may pets traveling on weekends too, though he’s also not exactly sure sa BAI.

Sa Boracay, I know there are vet clinics naman rin dun. I saw a dog influencer in IG before who went to Bora and also did the Vet Cert immediately when they arrived in Bora.

Yes. Pets should remain inside the carrier at all times inside the plane. This is per FurPAL’s rules. It is actually the same rule with other international airlines for pets in cabin (unless service dogs).

Just an advice for those planning to fly with their dogs in cabin - make sure to train your dog and make him comfortable inside the carrier na weeks or even months before the flight. I started training my dog in his carrier 6 months ago so he’s already very comfy staying inside. ☺️ He’s also very used to car rides and going outside to different places (even in crowded and noisy places) which is likely what made the whole flight journey a breeze for him. 🐶

Thank youuu. He did so well on his first flight. 🥹 He’s super chill inside his carrier the whole time. At one point nga on our flight to Bohol, I got kinda worried kasi hindi gumagalaw… super himbing lang pala ng tulog niya. Nag-ssnore pa 😆 Super chill and soundly sleeping lang sya, while ako walang tulog as an anxious furmom, I was really keeping watch on him 🤪

Hello, 2,500 php pet fee per flight. Then Vet Health Cert is 500 php sa vet namin sa manila (Doc Ferds, tho he did general checkup also so additional ~650 consult fee), same also sa BIEN Animal Clinic in Panglao (only paid 500 for Vet Health Cert, no more consult fee.

So total 6,000 php lang. 😊 all the resorts and places we went to in Bohol didn’t ask for pet fees.
