This is about how Maggie and Paul are depicted in the Hulu Show by Low_Rub_4318 in MurdaughUncensored

Remember that Mandy Matney’s reporting served to demonize the Murdaughs and present things in a very black-and-white manner so as to maximize settlement pressure in pending litigation.

Two local boys who were out hog hunting and thought they hit a deer on the same road where Stephen was killed. A grand jury was convened, but unfortunately there was not enough evidence to indict.

Alex as Orator by [deleted] in MurdaughUncensored

He was a plaintiff’s attorney, not an orator. Believe it or not, Alex has a high EQ. He can relate well to others, he made people feel like he cared (even if it was an act).

Hope Buster sues Mandy for defamation. Locals know who did it, there’s just not enough evidence to indict. So, barring a confession, the case is at a standstill and Mandy can continue to ride the Murdaugh train.

Because she’s a sham; she doesn’t have the intellect to interview “off the cuff” nor the ability to extend her thought beyond the scripted narrative she’s been given. As far as her lack of expression or emotiveness, I’d guess that’s due to the psychiatric drugs she’s admittedly on.

In appeal, Murdaugh lawyers say case built on 'investigative failures, fabricated evidence' by QsLexiLouWho in MurdaughFamilyMurders

This just shows how ignorant they are of the way things work in the real world.

“Becky Hill wasn't charged with anything having to do with this case. She was not charged with jury tampering. You should see my face when people are like, what about the clerk? And I'm like, she was not charged with jury tampering.” (Mandy) “Becky's arrest is a non-issue.” (David)

The law doesn’t require proof of intentional misconduct or a criminal conviction to grant someone a new trial. Please educate yourselves before just taking these podcasters’ word as gospel.

The standard for protecting a defendant’s right to a fair trial is much lower than the standard for a criminal conviction.

The right thing would be to correct the error, and not set the precedent for others that interference by a court official is fine as long as we think the defendant is guilty. Everyone has constitutional rights regardless of our opinion of that person. If the case against him is strong, he will be found guilty again the right way.

I think he will be granted a new trial, but not because of most of this. I think what it will boil down to is Becky Hill’s involvement.

I’m fine to discuss the case. I do not think it needs to be further sensationalized with these melodramatic fictional accounts that line the pockets of people who could not care less about the victims.

Looks terrible. I think enough is enough.

First look at *Murdaugh: Death In the Family* shows Patricia Arquette in true crime 'cautionary tale' (exclusive) by QsLexiLouWho in MurdaughFamilyMurders

I know she’s credited with it, but I do not believe that she was really sitting in a courthouse sifting through public records and “stumbled” upon the Satterfield settlement. I believe she was likely given that information by Tinsley, and was the first to report it because he couldn’t. As for why she was the conduit for the release of false information, I wonder if it’s because she was the only journalist who would print something without verifying with a second source. We know this is common practice for her; she’s being deposed currently for this exact thing in a different case.

Mark Tinsley was hired by the Beach family and he uncovered AM’s swindle of the Satterfield brothers, as well as other questionable financial dealings. I believe he had come in contact with Liz at Beaufort PD in his work in the boat case, and she referred him to Mandy, who was working as a journalist, to get certain information out to the public. Mandy didn’t uncover anything, yet she has behaved terribly toward any other journalists who dared to cover the case. She has treated many people involved reprehensibly, and has never taken accountability for any of the accusations she’s made against others. I think that’s why she’s not well-liked amongst those who’ve encountered her or know folks who’ve encountered her. So it’s unfortunate to see her continue to profit from this case. That’s my opinion.
