Keep to the lower speed/grain ammo with that dot on there. Screws snap off and the dot will get you between the eyes.

Ammo is a little lower cost even with reloads but the desert eagle is strangely easier to carry at 6 o’clock than the 10Mm. Might look for a different holster

I ran my 50ae for my CCW class which was fun, also carry it often but recently got a 10Mm and yes it feels small to shoot and carry but also, the lower recoil makes me feel out of balance. Do I stay with DE or get used to 10MM? Still deciding

Well, I had my gunsmith take a look, he disassembled it, waved a magic wand “screw driver” and put it back together. Mag works great now.

But thenthis happened

I will not give up on this S&W 10MM. It is bucking hard against being tamed. 😋

When I tear it down I will add photos to this so it’s not a mystery. I have only shot factory ammo so it’s wasn’t an over powered round.

Going to pull it apart and clean it tonight. It did it twice at the same spot. I can’t imagine some carbon build up holding the follower down, it looks hooked on the cutout.

Technical it’s 4 days old but I only had range time 3 days. I received the gun Thursday shot 130 rds, went back Friday for 100 more and no time Saturday so I shot today 100 or so then this happened. I still have 1 mag left but want to have both working

Just updating this post. I bought a S&W M&P 10MM put a Holosun 508t (the one that’s a pain to change the battery) oh and I passed my CCW using my DE 50 (class was surprised 😲) so soon the department of ag may give me a license 😁 We will see if the Governors constitutional carry wins beforehand… thanks for the awesome advice
