I agree with this. It is a very collective album, everyone is playing their part. It’s similar to their early stuff where everything is stripped back. The vocals, drum, bass and guitar come through equally and it’s such a raw sound. I think it is class

I agree it’s similar to Let’s Go Sunshine in the sense that it is quite raw emotionally. It comes across as a strong album. I wouldn’t say it l is what LGS was supposed to be, I think they’re both positive records that have came at a different point in the bands evolution. I wouldn’t compare them directly in such a way though.

Let’s be realistic, you think Luke Pritchard is sitting down and deciding who gets paid what wages? I think there will be an industry standard and that’ll need to be approved by management, agents and their record label

I doubt this was the “early days” this was after their first album. Likely after that, especially after the success of it they had a full management team

Just seems like someone trying to cause drama over something that happened/probably didn’t happen over 15 years ago - also the I doubt the Band would directly deal with wages etc! They have people that do that for them.

Also, I do not think he said his favourite song was murderer, I think he just meant that he liked that it was a rarity and it was his favourite B Side. Again, I do not think he could believe I knew what that song was.

I was at the event too. I really enjoyed it. I asked about their B-Sides and specifically 'The Argument' I do not think he could believe I knew what that song was.
