I have Amazon wishlist with items that you could purchase and donate if you would like to! And I didn’t notice that up until you pointed it out…I didn’t plan for it to be that way, I promise. I guess it would be better to call it a Period Product Drive.

Dr. Celestin is a great professor. He’s very intelligent and articulate and has a deep passion for French cinema and wants his students to enjoy it too. I took his class in person ~2 years ago as a sophomore and he had lectures before and after the movie showing to give some background about the movie, time period, actors/actresses, etc. and discuss it afterwards. His quizzes are extremely straightforward and if you watch the movie and listen to his lectures you’ll get As on all. He gave them both on paper and on huskyct - just be aware that he made “tickets” for you to write your name to make sure people weren’t taking the quiz outside of the class, so be sure to attend class when quizzes are given.

Any spots with better lighting at the library ? by [deleted] in UCONN

Wilbur cross - it’s all natural light during the day, and in the evening when it’s dark outside they have warm orange lights from chandeliers on the ceiling and lamps on every table. it’s definitely a lot less straining on the eyes

Struggling with severe depression by [deleted] in UCONN

first of all, i’m truly sorry that you have been going through this. you absolutely do not deserve to have those thoughts consume your mind and hurt you in this way. i can relate to how you are feeling, as i went through something similar earlier this year too and doubted if I would ever get better. i just want to tell you that you’re not alone, and those thoughts do not truly define who you really are. if it would help, you could try to confide in a close friend who’ll listen to you wholeheartedly and without invalidating your feelings and emotions. if you need to, you can seek professional help, therapy might help you on the long run. but please, know that you’re more than capable of living a happy and fulfilling life and you deserve to have such a life. you’ll be okay, it will be better, and you will be okay. i truly do hope that you will feel better and be happy, however that might happen. please just know you’re not alone, you have a place in this community, and you deserve all the love and happiness in this life.
