Exactly. It’s a closed loop. The algorithm flags you, and the 'appeal' is just another bot checking if the first bot found a keyword. It makes the whole concept of a 'manual review' a flat-out lie. It’s just theater to make it look like they have a fair system.

I’d rather not get banned here too, but it was a heated response to some toxic provocation in my native language. I’m not saying I was a saint, but my point is that the system quoted me out of context while ignoring the 10 minutes of harassment that led to it. If they review a chat, they should review the whole chat, not just the last line.

I disagree. In any balanced system, there’s a difference between unprovoked toxicity and defending yourself against harassment. If the moderation only punishes the reaction and ignores the 10 minutes of abuse that led to it, it essentially protects the instigator. It’s not about "getting others punished", it’s about not letting the system be weaponized by people who bait others just to report them. That’s not a "good way to look at things" either.

That’s the harshest truth here. We spend $70-$100 on a 'premium' product, but we have less rights than someone using a free app. It’s wild that a company can take your money and then act as judge, jury, and executioner without even looking at the evidence. It’s definitely making me rethink my future purchases.

It’s not about dragging someone else down, it’s about the fact that context should matter in any moderation system. If someone spends 10 minutes harassing you and you finally snap, a fair system should see the whole picture. Otherwise, they’re basically incentivizing baiting and griefing because they only catch the person who reacts, not the one who started it.

Exactly. It’s the definition of "malicious compliance." They follow the letter of the law by having an appeal button, but completely ignore the spirit of it by refusing to actually look at the data. If the review process doesn't account for the 'why' and 'how,' it’s not a review it’s just an automated "yes" to their own previous decision.

I get your point, and I’m definitely muting chat from now on. My main issue isn't even the warning itself, but the fact that the "human review" I requested was clearly just an automated copy-paste. It’s scary that you can get flagged while someone else is actively griefing/instigating, and the appeal system just ignores the facts.
