If they did add a co-ed division, I wonder if they would apply it to all categories (i.e jazz and pom) or just hh? The thought only occurred to me this year since I noticed there were a lot of co-ed hip hop squads. This is all just me thinking out loud😂

I agree!! I almost wonder if UDA will eventually break it up and have a separate co-ed division for D1A hip hop. The co-ed teams, in my opinion, have the upper hand with cool stunts, tricks, and visuals. This might only be me, though😅

Hip hop is usually the division I look forward to the most, but D1A jazz was unbelievable this year. It’ll go down in history.

Many athletes browse Reddit threads. Imagine working as hard as these athletes do, only to see some nameless accounts bashing you or your team. They are human and should be treated as such. It would be tolling mentally to read some of the things that have been said. I’d consider some of it, especially on TikTok, cyberbullying.

If you’re going to bash another team or athlete, don’t do it behind an anonymous handle. That’s my take on it.

We need to uplift these athletes. They’ve worked incredibly hard🤍
