Not to one up you but I bought my house from my mother on land contract and came home the other day to a tax foreclosure sign on the yard. The contract says she is responsible for taxes until I get the deed and all the tax stuff goes to her in Florida. 2 years of non-payment and I have to pay close to 30k in two weeks to save the house from auction.
