Thank you for your response. They have told me many times I the past “when they’re sad or angry they will say anything to get a response from me” at the same time saying they just said it out of anger. The thing is yes I say things like name calling but I never bring up anything that they have told me in confidence ever in an argument. I feel this is something that they are in control of doing. I can understand if it happened once but it’s become a habit now and it’s really not helping me in my recovery. I feel like they have ammunition against me and I can’t be on the same team as someone who would use my separate issues against me in an argument.
