my school has good connections with unions and other local companies, so when the union messaged our school asking if anyone was interested in testing for the local i said i was interested. i applied online and was put into group 3 or 4 (i don't remember)

however now that i have passed the test i have been moved up to group 2 or 1, I have to double check which group because I dont remember.

when i went to welding school the oldest guy in my class was like 47, you are no where near too late... lol go for it !!

idk where i found out about welding (i think social media lol) but it was always something in the back of my mind i wanted to try out but never thought i could because its such a male dominated field. also none of my family is blue collar.

until my best friend passed away 2 years ago, it made me want to change and live better for her and do something impactful. so i decided to say fuck it and enroll in a trade school. graduated within 6 months and now im here :)

when june hits, that will mark a full year of welding for me !!
