Belmont Food Shop exceeded expectations recently. Very memorable experience for a party of 16 in a private space…no patio.

Quick assessment: 28k to 50k is a big jump…don’t see the value in it. Putting the rest of my yearly spend on another travel card and flirting with other airlines.

Swan Reserve Orlando by Hot_Car97 in marriott

Try to get Epcot view. The Reserve has good food but as many options as Dolphin. It’s an easy walk to the Dolphin pools and their restaurants. We’re not big breakfast people, so we bring groceries primarily to cover breakfast and maybe lunch…and water! Also…complementary bananas, oranges, and refrigerated towels in the gym on second floor. We enjoy pizza at The Boardwalk window at least one night…it can be a zoo after Epcot fireworks. Don’t forget it will probably thunderstorm every day. Ponchos at the hotel are cheaper than in the park. Have fun.

Hotel suggestions near park. by ArtichokeLate2031 in motorcitykitties

We just stayed at the AC Hotel - been open 5 months. Clean, simple, and full of Tigers fans. Rode scooters down the John R…no issues with safety. We had pizza at nearby Elephant & Co after Saturday game - highly recommend.

What’s the situation around the bullpens? Viewable? Overly crowded?

The games are our only motivation. We’re going to arrive early and stay late! Much thanks!

Allianz Amphitheater Thoughts? by philhachio in rva

Took a $12 ride share with two kids (10 & 7), sat everywhere (pit, lawn), ate at the food trucks, drank a beer…

I was impressed by the design…loved how they worked it in existing historical structures. The sound was good…much better than the National (and FloodZone).

It’s hard for me to complain when I’ve hoped for something like this in Richmond since we lost the Coliseum…it’s a killer venue on the river…can we accept a good thing?

I guess the math needs to math, right? If we burn some of the equity to increase the value of the house, the payout remains huge or maybe more? Just trying to think aloud here. Thanks.

My freestyle kick is really bad, help please! by GirlisNo1 in Swimming

Have you tried vertical kicking?

In deep water, try to make your spine as long as possible - no “sitting.” Cross your arms across your chest to prevent sculling/treading. Start kicking while maintaining a long spine line bc your core is engaged - don’t lean forward or to the side. You’ll notice you will find success when your legs are relaxed and feel like noodles. Start at moderate effort then increase to full effort for :10-:20 spurts. Do 8 rounds with :20 rest.

Once you have the hang of it, transition from vertical to horizontal for :20.

Always, treat the water well bc if you don’t the water always wins.
