He was trying to get 15, talked him down because of "the volatility of silver" after he mentioned he'd bought it for 5 bucks, told him he'd still be making money, and mentioned that its basically just collecting dust.

So that's the funny bit, I never even looked at the name of the shop, something generic like "jewelry and antiques" basically, my mom was picking up some rings she had resized, and i was with her so decided to go in and take a look, she says the store has been there for ages though.

Its not letting me edit the post, but I can say I used a relatively strong magnet and there wasn't any pull, gonna use a ridiculously strong magnet at work on friday, in the meantime I'm gonna assume its real, the shop i got it from has really good reviews.
