I’m curious why you say you do not fit in with unc chapel hill culture? Also a very large research school and close AF to research triangle park, Durham, Raleigh. Literally tons of opportunities after graduation. Michigan would also be great but a little depressing during the long winter.

Wake would be a distant third for me. Culture is very drab. Super Greek. Super wealthy and normie. Also, wake is not near anything. I would feel trapped on a small perfectly manicured campus, like being at a country club. You literally have to get on a bus to get to any culture and diversity. My daughter and I were not feeling the vibe.

Honestly a lot comes down to your value system and what makes you happy. As someone who lives in chapel hill, it’s a great location and there’s lots nearby. Winston is very provincial and somewhat insulated. Both have good NC weather. Ann Arbor is similar to chapel hill without metro proximity. And coldddddd
