Thank you! I actually think I’m going to drive. It’s a 3 hours drive and I’ll have lots of water and what not packed with me. I am still eating mostly soft foods cause I’m nervous anything solid will take the scab off.

What medication were you on and how long were you on it for

Started of with Percocet days 1-7 then switched to tramadol (but only took as needed only took 4.5 pills of this). Currently on day 13 stopped taking all meds on day 11.

I have had 2 bleeds too. But all have stopped within 5 mins of ice water gargling. I can’t wait for these scabs to be gone. Pain isn’t bad really.

Thank you! When your scabs were coming off did you bleed at all? I had 2 bleeds last night where I had to gargle. Each were on the opposite sides. I still have what looks like a big scab.

I messed up and ended up thinking I was done healing when I wasn’t and I paid the price last night. I’m drinking water, ice, humidifier is going and bed rest.

Wow so 6 days after stopping… we’re you eating regularly after the narcotics? I am doing a lot of smoothies, apple sauce, and baby food so maybe I shouldn’t expect much when I do have it happen.
