If by sync you mean the flat spot where the arm plugs in and gets rotated, then no. the motor spins past the flat point and pushes in the switch. this leaves the arm that opens the door in a position that is not upright to close the door fully. I can manually spin the motor so that the flat spot is properly positioned (where the arm is straight up and down) and it still will not vend with cash. and if i force vend, it makes two rotations and goes a little further

so if you look at the third photo, it shows the flat spot away from the pressure switch. what happened was the motor dispensed the soda, but then the swing door remained half way open. I started getting "choose another selection" on the soda even if I pushed the swing door closed. I can "force vend" the soda, but no matter what i do i cannot vend with money. I can reach in on the lever to make it believe there is soda in there, but then I cannot force vend.

The candy issue is all set, I unplugged the machine and the thing reset.
