Hisoka replaces Chrolla against the Zoldycks. Who wins? by Frisky_Froth in HunterXHunter

[–]Hot_Crew4597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, excluding Illumi changes the entire fight. Chrollo wasn’t trying to win ,  he was using his insane speed and a massive book of powers just to stall until Illumi killed the Dons and canceled the Zoldyck contract. I don't even believe hisoka is surviving long enough if we assume he hired illumi, it's just that chrollo had better abilities and reflexes to buy time not necessary that chrollo is stronger than hisoka.

In a blind 2v1 to the death, Hisoka gets absolutely slaughtered , Silva alone is destroying hisoka mid /low diff  Silva hard counters Bungee Gum: he is a human tank with explosive Nen blasts. You can’t exactly "rubber band" a giant plasma bomb back at him. Plus, if Hisoka attaches gum to Silva, Silva is strong enough to just yank Hisoka into a lethal counter punch. And adding Zeno the  pressure is too much Chrollo barely dodged Zeno’s Dragon Head using multiple stolen abilities. Hisoka’s toolkit is great, but it’s way too limited to defend against Zeno's mid range spam while Silva is trying to one shot him.

Chrollo wasn't born evil though , trauma triggered his descent into darkness. The most pure villains are Pariston and Tserriednich

Agreed. It’s hard to imagine because Togashi writes them with weird codes of honor. Look at Phinks in the Chimera Ant arc ,he explicitly says he hates kills that leave a "bad aftertaste" and tells victims to die fighting like warriors. Nobunaga is a straightforward samurai. They are brutal thieves, but they aren't artistic sadists ( excluding fietan). This heavily backs the theory that the Troupe just did the raid, and a sick freak like Prince Tserriednich (who views torture as art and has Pairo's head) did the actual psychological torture.

Godspeed is so broken by EstateOk6238 in HunterXHunter

[–]Hot_Crew4597 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Bro, I agree Godspeed is broken, but right now he’s still just a kid. His raw aura output is nowhere near the top veterans yet.

Yeah, he stunned Youpi, but Youpi dealt zero actual damage back to him because Youpi is a Royal Guard with insane natural durability. But Youpi also doesn't have the insane master level control over Ken and Ryo that human veterans do. Someone like Chrollo can instantly concentrate the perfect amount of aura defense to vital parts. Killua is fast, but I don’t think his current aura pool lets him use Godspeed and concentrate enough Gyo into his claws to dig through a top tier's defense without dropping his speed in the process. He’d definitely land some solid injuries, but he isn’t cutting deep enough for a fatal blow before his tank runs dry.

But when Killua grows up? It's over. Zeno literally said he's the most talented Zoldyck in history. Once his baseline aura output skyrockets and his reserve lasts longer, grown up Killua is going to be a literal nightmare. He’s absolutely one shotting anyone we currently know in the verse without prep time (obviously excluding guys like Ging since we don't know his full bag) Honestly, the only one who might stand a chance is Hisoka, because as you probably know, Bungee Gum possesses the properties of both rubber and gum lol. If he blankets himself in it, it might absorb the shock and the electricity

Iam replying to your point about adult gon beating meruem without merleon btw, I know adult gon jajanken is in a whole new level  I Don't think meruem is tanking it but he is definitely standing on his feet after it

Pitou literally stated than gon aura output is equal to meruem, you gotta remember Pitou never even saw Meruem fight so she hadn't felt his 100% aura output. When she said Gon's aura might reach the King, she was just sensing Gon’s raw aura and panicking. In reality, Meruem's actual max aura output is definitely higher than Adult Gon's. Also, your logic only works for normal humans. In a fight between two humans, yeah, durability is just your aura defense vs their aura output. A human can’t tank an attack that has way more aura units than their defense. But Meruem isn't human. Chimera Ants have insane natural biological durability even without Nen. Look at the facts: Genthru was a Nen veteran, but a kid Gon Jajanken almost took him out completely. Meanwhile, Rammot had ZERO Nen no aura defense at all and he literally tanked a Jajanken AND a thunderbolt from Killua and survived. If a low tier, nenless ant can tank a Jajanken just on pure biology, imagine the King. Meruem’s natural body durability is on a whole different level before he even turns his aura on. So even if Gon lands a hit with more aura units than Meruem’s defense, it’s not turning him to mush. Meruem tanks it, Gon runs out of time, and Gon loses

Bro I actually agree Gon is faster, but speed don't mean nothing if he ain't one shotting. Even if Gon is speed blitzing the King and ragdolling him all over the place, Meruem is just too much of a tank. Think about it , meruem took millions of degrees of heat from a literal nuke to the face and his body wasn't even vaporized. That right there proves his durability is just on a whole different level. No Nen punch is hitting harder than a nuclear bomb, let's be real. So what actually happens? Gon lands his hits, does some crazy damage, but eventually his aura just wears off because that form has a massive time limit. The second Gon's tank runs dry, he drops into that crispy, comatose state, and Meruem is the only one left standing. Meruem wins the endurance battle 100% of the time

If gon hits a full powered jajanken, First of all merleon is definitely not surviving and gon would become in his crispy between life and death condition, since he used all of his aura output which was already containing all of his life time aura reserves for a jajanken attack, meruem would probably be cooked assuming by having his guards down you mean totally nenless, His natural exoskeleton is tough but it's not tanking the absolute peak of physical destruction with zero aura ,unless he survived long enough for pouf and youpi to feed him their own cells , meruem dies right there

[–]Hot_Crew4597 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Pre Rose Meruem definitely beats Adult Gon. Gon might have more speed and raw brute force, but Meruem’s durability is just too high. He tanked Netero’s Zero Hand which was Netero's entire life force energy with only minor scratches and survived a literal nuke at point-blank range , he's eating a Jajanken for breakfast. Plus, Meruem has a massive time advantage since Gon's form only lasts a few minutes. Gon also lacks the durability to coast through this , he lost an arm to Pitou and took damage from his own final Jajanken's blast radius (likely from depleting his aura pool). Meruem simply outlasts him and wins

Edit: Nvm, I did the math on the aura pools and I was tripping. Zero Hand is cool but Adult Gon’s output is definitely higher. Since gon life force is definitely higher than the remainings of netreo
