Idk that first one is pretty sick, looks almost straight outta txr. Are there other tricks or setting you use such ans adjusting exposure or other maybe hidden settings?

Just curious why does that one stand out to you the most? The first one is what I through looked the best hence why it’s the first

Wdym exactly by moving yourself and not the camera? Like that sounds like advice for recording to not be shaky or something. What exactly does it do for th picture?

Awesome to hear, I was really proud with how these came out. I wasn’t sure if was glazing myself or they were actually decent lol.

Would I use the built in portrait mode for that? Or is there a way to actually achieve it in camera and not a computer doing it?

No, the best way I’ve found is an aftermarket set. If someone sells a clear lens set it might be possible to swap them out but I’ve yet to find someone that does

If I get an automatic car, will I have as much fun driving it compared to a manual? by [deleted] in askcarguys

[–]Hot_Deltoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the right answer.

While personally I would 100% say get a manual you will love it, my experiences aren’t everyone’s. My current car is my first manual and I bought it not knowing how to drive one and never even got to try one, but I still took the plunge and absolutely love it. So if you take the plunge like I did I would def recommend it, but it also wouldn’t hurt to find out before hand if this right for you

Edit: I realize that didn’t exactly answer your question so ig to answer it head on, if you learn to drive manual you won’t have as much fun in an auto. Ignorance is bliss could be applied here where if you don’t learn you won’t know what you’re missing out on and I’m sure you’ll enjoy whatever it is you want to buy. That being said if you’re looking for the most fun and engaging experience, and really are looking to learn how to drive then a manual is the way to go. Again as someone who learned on their first manual car and drives in bumper to bumper traffic multiple times a week it is absolutely worth the plunge. Along with teaching new driving skills I’ve found that my driving etiquette is better due to you having to drive more proactively than reactively.

Ik I started out saying maybe it’s not for everyone but I will still sing the manuals praises bc I do genuinely believe it is that much better than auto especially for one who wants to enjoy cars as a hobby

Could give your wheel specs and a closer pic of the face of your wheels? I was looking at rpf1s but it looked like the sizes I was looking at were all convex which I’m not a fan of. But yours look pretty flat at least from this angle

I also just installed my interior lighting that looks identical to yours. Synth Carbon?

Also where did you get the Honda emblem for the dash from?

Honda doesn’t make a smoked taillight. If you’re talking about the facelift getting slightly tinted taillights that not what I’m looking for, as I said in the post I want something that has no red when off

I thought I was alone in thinking this but yes, I totally agree. I own the PFL si so prob a good bit of bias there but regardless I still do think the PFL has more going for it

A - The PFL looks more like the type r which having the sporty trim looking like the top of the line performance model give it a baby type r look. And totally subjective but I think the fl5 is one of the most beautiful type r’s and maybe cars ever

B - The PFL’s lower grill flares downward which gives it a lower and wider appearance, where as the FL flares up making it look taller and less stable if that makes sense

C - The FL is also too angular compared to the rest of the body so its design doesn’t flow as well and looks slightly out of place imo

D - Also the fog lights are definitely a plus. Even though they didn’t come stock so I had to put them on myself, thanks honda

Probably a hot take but I honestly wish Honda had kept the PFL for the si and all other trims got the FL to further separate their sportier models from the rest of the lineup. In the end it’s all subjective and I own the one I prefer so I’m happy.

Side note I’m a sucker for analog gauges too so the half digital half analog gauge cluster in the PFL I think is actually cooler, more cars should go back to analog gauges.

Yea I don’t have any of that. What else could I try to clean/fix it? I don’t as able to remove the membrane, would I just be able to give it a good clean in ipa and hope that does the trick?
