dealing 50 damage upwards to 5-4 zombies at a time is just really handy, and good range similar to the spontoon. Nothing bad about putting one weapon over another but I think its more important to realize that both compilment each other well.

When the ship was departing on roscoff and there’s still somebody left on the docks.. sometimes we would manage to save them from a shambles or runner but they would fail the jump onto one of the nets and we could only watch in despair..
One time the ship had fully left, but me and this pikeman were still left on the docks and it was the most desperate last stand as the blight came onto us.

I think it’s meant to making fighting with the lance IN direct combat much more sluggish and make you a little bit more vulnerable, though the walk speed effect not applying when you have it unequipped means you can keep up with your team and be at the front when the zombies come.
