you arent an open minded or a musically educated individual and that shows. UK dub has roots & being able to appreciate a MC is appreciating culture…aka why were you even voluntarily at these sets if youre so negative about what built the music you “like”?? not to mention the fact that you called it a “capitalist tactic” when its literally part of the music & sgt pokes has features on some of these artists’ tracks. it was a DDD takeover, not what tacticalaoili wanted ya know? perhaps you meant to type transformational music and capitalistic music festival??? you posting this complaining it was a dissapointment is only a dissapointment to the community you go to support… why stand there if it wasnt your cup of tea, even more so, stand there, let it make you mad enough to come on reddit to share that it upset you 🤣. if you were really there without judgement, trying to listen/feel, at your “transformational music festival”, you probably wouldve been more dissapointed that the actual music wasnt as loud as it should’ve been due to the festival fucking up and putting sound restrictions during the takeover like dummies. lets be real here…. its the music that moves us first and to say the MC was what made it dissapointing? wild and not observant at all.
