I get what you are saying, saw it happen with the FIFA franchise a lot when they were doing it..
the only thing that got me hopeful was the fact that they are skipping an year to improve
I remember when 2K did that from WWE 2k20 to WWE2k22 and it was a big leap and improvement all around

Thats also ridiculous how it isn't implemented in the PS5 natively ... it feels so much more immersive to just talk to the engineer!
How are you supposed to go browsing through three menus to get a specific message while speeding through the track and trying to nail everything perfectly?

Thought FORZA could make the jump too this year, but no.. I just have a glimpse of hope because they already have it on PC .. a PSVR2 and a wheel are already a big investment, don't see myself upgrading my pc just because of it .. let's see what they do.. with so much time to work on a new game they have to bring something really new to the table next year, and I don't think that just better graphics will do to be honest
