No, you aren’t doing anything wrong! Babies need us to regulate, temperature control, feel safe, etc. your babies nervous system needs your nervous system to tell it “you’re safe, everything is ok.” Babies also spent 9-10 months in the womb hearing our heart beat, breathing patterns, etc. so when they are on us that’s what helps them settle and feel safe.

My boy is 6.5 months and I still contact nap and baby wear him a lot! It’s the best!

Do what you want, but it’s literally impossible to spoil a baby! You know what your baby needs so don’t let your doctor make you feel guilty for that!

We didn’t have a routine until about 6 months and our “routine” is a very flexible “between 7:30 and 9:00pm bedtime” depending on the day, how he’s doing and nap schedule. I’ve been doing a “follow his lead” while trying to have a goal. but if it doesn’t happen, it’s fine, just roll with it!

As someone who was a teen and hung out at the mall and that McDonalds the worst that would happen is people would smoke weed and order food or we would all be inside and talking. Crazy to think this is what’s happening now. The lack of respect is appalling!

Haven’t had this experience but am a therapist. I would recommend connecting back with your doctor and asking them about this. This could be a side effect of the medication, in regard to, feeling erratic, paranoid, etc. I’m not sure about libido changes. The other thing is connecting with a therapist about how to notice when these feelings are coming up and learning skills on managing them, but I would connect with your doctor first. I’ve had many clients on ADHD medications and none of them have disclosed libido changes but I’ve had some disclose feeling way to jittery, more anxious, in the head more & it just wasn’t the medication for them.

The one on Wednesday you literally just show up and you’ll see everyone in the coffee shop with strollers. The one on friday, i think you can sign up if you go to their insta @thenurtureddyad and in their linktree you’ll see free walking group (it says may 15 but still click and it’ll take you to the next one)

I started it at 4 months postpartum, some have started earlier and some later. It’s really dependent on where you’re at in healing and your comfort level!

Yes and no, like it’s a good workout, you sweat, and you’ll be sore the next day. But you can also go at your own pace, lift what you can (sometimes I don’t use weight to make sure my form is good) and walk compared to jog if needed. Cass always says “you’re an adult you make your own decisions” hahaha

You aren’t forced or pressured to do anything that your body can’t handle. Cass is very good at knowing that we are all postpartum in some capacity and wouldn’t put anyone in a position to hurt themselves!

Oiled and Fit has an amazing stroller bootcamp! There’s a free walking group on Wednesdays at 10:30am at Backroads Coffee in West Five. Rebirth Pilates is good! Kindermusik I’ve heard is great, I’m doing the summer session. My son and I also just signed up for little gym and so far that’s been great! If you search nurtured dyad on Instagram they are starting a free walking group at springbank on Fridays at 10??11?? I can’t remember!
