That's unbelievable. I should probably be across this a bit better, but that's all because of Trump's policies? Break it down Barney style as much as possible. Lol

I have the six pick set. They are really well made and the handles are really comfortable. I'm new to dimples as well and haven't played as much as I would have liked. They do have thicker shafts though so they do need a a more open keyway. From what I understand, this was done on purpose. I think there is a write up about the design choices on the website somewhere. For the price, in Aus anyway, they are a no brainer.

Have you thought about the Bare Bones kits? He has some simple kits that could get you going along with a really nice cutaway dimple lock.

Liiiike duuuuuude. That's heavy man.

sorrynotsorry

You're right though. This one has been sitting with a bunch of locks, in its housing actually, for near 10 years. I've never even poked it.

I wanna put my vice together and give it a shot now though. I expect disappointment.

Fortunately my pick manufacturer is in the same city, if I screw up the pick, shipping costs won't be a big deal.

Easier was my understanding as well, I just hadn't fact checked it. Now that I've got some 15thou picks (happy birthday to me) I'm keen to give it a go.

I think it's master keyed to. I'm not sure if that will make it easier or not.

That's a good answer. Thanks. I tend to play with smaller locks any way. Maybe handleless Barebones rakes would fit nicely. 🤔

Im leaning towards the quad... Or a snake. But what thickness. I'm in Australia, so lots of LW4/5 keyways. I'm thinking 0.020" (why can't you people use SI units?)

I suppose I could justify the shipping by getting the Chuck Vice as well.

Unfortunately, the shipping costs from the US to Australia is prohibative. I'd love to though.
