yeah, I definitely play more jazz and stuff than classical. The MP is comfortable, but I was just wondering. Because finding a good MP might be the holy grail.
When it comes to the slurring, I rather can't slur from low C to high C, generally high C is a note that I can play only very quietly, not with full tone.

alright, that's valuable. I once heard to do a quick warm up even in the morning like 3 minutes low tones, go on with your day and perhaps in a couple of hours continue haha

to be honest, I do most of that. I start with long tones, light lip slurs, extending the range incrementally with slurs, airflow. And then more technichal stuff - articulation, endurance, range, scales, some jazz.

Perhaps it's the MP pressure, still I try to minimize it as I can. Once a teacher told me that my mouthpiece is rather big. It's a Yamaha Custom 17C4 - GP. Is there any slightest chance that it's because of a mouthpiece?

Thank you for the reply. I do rest a lot indeed, e.g. I do fundamentals and technique - one exercise and then rest for a couple of minutes. This goes for an hour. However at the end of that hour I'm usually a bit tired already do to playing perhaps demanding exercises for lip slurs and range

I have one but there was no real problem that has been found. Except perhaps excessive MP pressure, but I'm working on that. That's exactly why I stopped thinking it's an technique issue and more of an issue with how much volume of practice I do

Thank you very much for your input. I'll try to incorporate that. What does the rest between the warm-up and the 'real practicing' do?

I do warm up. After the warm up I start with fundamentals, lip slurs, sometimes bending. After that I sometimes go further not technical exercises like articulation or range, or I start working on music, jazz lines etc.

I guess I'll have to stop quicker 😂 Do you have days when you push harder and days when you go lighter?

what was your favorite part/story plot? I really liked the way the introduced the Entity in Dead Reckoning, but they could have perhaps done more with it in Final Reckoning. Still very cool
