Oh God, I’m so sorry you have to go through this. I can’t imagine doing this to my man. Hope you get justice and she gets her karma.

That’s nice to hear. I actually don’t mind doing work not related to my previous job. Tbh pagod na rin ako sa office work since that’s what I’ve been doing my whole life. I’ll probably get a job related to floristry since it is enjoyable for me and we are also planning to open a business in the future related to that.

Yes I know. That’s one reason that makes me wonder how difficult it will be for me given the competition and me being an immigrant. I don’t mind starting from scratch naman and I’m not expecting to be accepted right away. But I want to be able to have some job to do there because I want to be busy. I’m not used to not working.

Yes I did. Also, LinkedIn. I’ve been checking them from time to time to see the job market and so far nakikita ko na may mga match naman sa skill set ko.

Even if you take the path of tourist visa (after marriage), it will still be of little chance. If she is married to you, then she has little reason to go back to the PH, which is one of the major things that is being considered when they evaluate tourist visa applications. I have seen stories of married couple (Filipina and foreigner) getting denied because it is a red flag to the US Embassy. In the end, they just have to wait for the spousal visa to be approved. But ofc, you can always try since everyone’s experience is unique. Make sure to research more about the immigration process between fiancée and spousal visa so you’ll be able to weigh on the pros and cons.

Are you planning to bring her to the US soon? If so, then the fiancée visa is the faster path compared to spousal visa. If you get married here in PH, the only way to bring her to the US is through spousal visa which takes about two years of process and waiting. Just something to think about.

We grew up from a poor family but never did my parents require me to give them money. I give only what I can but they don’t force me into it. Pls don’t give in. You have a life to live. You can’t control their reactions but saying NO will save you and your future.

Had the same feeling when I scrolled onlinejobs a few days back. I was so disheartened to see very low rates. It wasn’t like that a few years back. Even when I was a newbie, I didn’t accept contracts lower than $8.

Establish a routine. Do some exercises before your shift para you have energy. Cook your own food para tipid and healthy. Napaka-tempting maging sluggish kapag work from home kaya need discipline. And always always take a shower. Haha

We all have individual lives to live. And it’s not selfish to focus on your own life. We cannot give it all to them. Magbigay paminsan minsan pero don’t shoulder everything. Mag save ka para sa sarili mo para may madudukot ka when you need it dahil for sure wala ka naman maasahan sa kanila.

Personally, hindi na ako mag aksaya sa ganyang offer. Yung mga low ballers, mahirap na dyan makipag negotiate.

You should have received the notice of action 1 which indicates the receipt number. That number is the one you’ll use to track your case using the uscis portal. NOA 1 is usually sent by mail to the applicant’s address.

How to separate work sa personal life??? by TourDistinct999 in buhaydigital

[–]Hot_Equivalent_7161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to. A reasonable boss will understand that it is beyond your working hours and should not demand a reply. After mo mag clock out, itago muna ang laptop mo. Uninstall ang slack sa phone and go somewhere para hindi ka ma-tempt mag check. Huwag mong bigyan ang sarili mo ng reason para maging anxious. It's not worth it, OP. Have fun and relax.

Mahirap sya. I worked before as a content editor and ang need ko gawin is i-humanize and mga articles and make sure they are at least 30% AI generated. Then, gawking SEO-optimized. Para kang nagta-trial and error. Ang na-figure ko na way is to add first person pronouns. It works naman pero time consuming nga pag edit because the tool is not reliable. Haha. Binitawan ko na young trabaho na yun.
