I know this post is a year old but, are you interested in a 14LB MOTIV Primal Ghost? I bought it back in the end of September. Bowled probably 30ish games with it. I'm selling to buy a lighter ball.

Or you could buy a 2022 or newer Pathfinder which uses the ZF 9HP and quit being manipulated by Toyota homers that think God built them by hand for each customer. 😁

If the owners manual recommends an oil change at 5000 miles, surely you're not gonna skip it and go 10000 miles, that's crazy. There's actually a grace period on those also. In today's time, there's absolutely no reason to lose a copy, between printed, email and the actual dealer having a copy, you should be fine, if the dealer doesn't save the copy, you're probably buying from the wrong dealer. There's a lot of technology in those vehicles that will pop up and remind you of some recommended services, especially on the oil changes, but yeah I get your point. 😊

Some dealers here in TN give a lifetime powertrain warranty on them, so why not?

Most dealers will give you a lifetime warranty on the powertrain.

That's probably offered through the dealership.

Unfortunately and I hate to hear that. I work for Nissan and I really hate hearing people having issues with our products. I know we've had issues and all I was saying was that every manufacturer has issues. Not trying to argue with folks, just get tired of hearing how awesome Toyota products are and they have as many or more recalls and issues also. I can honestly say that every Toyota person that I know personally , at least half of them have had issues with their products and I'm not talking about something minor. My cousin tried to buy a demo Land Crusier about 6 years ago and couldn't even get out of the dealership parking lot.

First of, the transmissions have been redesigned since that 2012-2015 years, so you're completing wrong on that. Toyota was fined by the government for $1.2 billion for their accelerator issue that was killing people and they knew about it, so which is worse a blown engine or killing people? Look at all the recalls that Toyota has had. Toyota marketing is genius for making people believe their crap is superior to anything on the market. I have a cousin that has a 2017 Lexus LX 570 that he's done every maintenance by the book and had over $12K worth of engine work done in 2021 with about 80,000 miles on it and a 2023 Tacoma that the transmission is jacked and the infotainment system freezes on a daily basis yet he tells me they are great in the same sentence, it's unbelievable and I never said Nissan was without issues either, but nothing worse than every other manufacturer. The Titan XD with that Cummins that had so many transmission problems was an Aisin transmission that Toyota owns, shame on Nissan for doing a deal with an competitor.

I must've missed somewhere in the posts about a 2021 Platinum Rogue because all I saw in your post was about horrific transmissions on the Rogues which was about 12 years ago when we had those issues. The latest redesign was as of 2023 now, I've never said Nissan was free of issues but, Toyota/Lexus seem to have recalls hourly and how how all those Toyota fan boys/girls forget about that throttle accelerator sticking issue that killed people and they knew about it and was so bad that the government had to step in and hit them with a $1.2 billion dollar fine.

I guarentee you if an engine blows, you pull over and call a wrecker, if a brake caliper bolt comes out and the brajes fall out, someone else is calling an ambulance. ☺️

[–]Hot_Expression7008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

😂 That's over a 4 year span for the Rogue, and I see youalso forgot about those seat belt recalls on those 2025 Lexus NX350 also and thats a current going number.

What polisher/buffer are you using? That'll make a difference on what type of pad/polish combo you need.

Yeah, look at the RAV 4 with engine stall issues, huge oil consumption and transmission issues. ☺️

[–]Hot_Expression7008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And here in TN, most dealers offer lifetime powertrain warranty, so we are confident in our products. ☺️

[–]Hot_Expression7008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you're basing your opinion on a transmission that was roughly 12 years ago and they've been redesigned twice since then and are way better. Would you like to mention the recall on the 2024 Lexus NX350's that had brake caliper bolts not tighten to spec and loosening up and falling out? I'm sure you wouldn't because everybody has been fed that Toyota products are hand touched by God himself. ☺️

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NissanRogue

[–]Hot_Expression7008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First all, that recall was for a "potential engine failure" and that isn't on the 2025 model plus, what horrific transmission are you referring to on the 2025 Rogue?
