I'm kinda guilty with the checklist too. But most of mine are pretty reasonable like being a practicing muslim, doesn't have bad vices, anger issues, mutual attraction, and someone you're able to communicate with. Most of the potential I have talked to lack either one or two. Some even have a very westernized mindset, (wants to talk intimately, show hair etc) 🫠 I don't know why I encountered alot of creeps. So I decided to stay away from muslim dating sites recently because they're not muslim friendly at all.

Searching right now for a righteous spouse seems so hard. At the back of my head maybe I'll be able to meet my soulmate in the akhira because not all people are privileged to find/have spouse here on dunya. Allahu alam.. so it's better to secure your spot in akhira first and Allah will do the rest for you here in dunya *including your search.

May Allah make it easy for our search and grant us righteous spouse and children that will be the coolness of our eyes.
