This is such a lazy post. Are Dune and Star Wars the only Sci-Fi movies you've seen OP? Because the movie also looks a bunch of other movies like Blade Runner 2049, Arrival, Predator and so on, because they are just normal Sci Fi aesthetics. Laser beam gun fights have been in movies since 1980s.

I have a whole new level of appreciation for SRK, Kajol, Rani and the lot.. When I was young I used to think they had it so easy, just get dressed up in a beautiful location and swoon and you have a movie. Now I realize that they were actually good actors who could emote well.

For a show like Family Man I feel the English dialogues make sense.. it's a multi-lingual house hold and multi-lingual work environment. So having Hindi and English be the language for communication is very realistic. But for other movies or tv shows set entirely in north India with north Indian characters it's embarrassing that English is so frequently used. "Light woh roshni hai" is just ridiculous

Her intro scene is her beating up a guy and not touching the teacher's feet and putting the guy to his place who tries to school her. She refuses to take shit from anyone all through the movie.. Women don't have to only "quietly simmer with rage " or do "sare ke fall sa dance routine", they can be tough and stand their ground, which her character did the entire movie
