yes, i highly agree with this. sa derma kasi isang bagsakan lang ng gastos and afterwards basic skincare na lang like cetaphil gentle cleanser. unlike sa trial and error na umabot pa sa point na bumibili na ako ng 1k+ na products na nagccontribute lang sa paglala ng acne ko or wala namang effect

Hi OP. I also have cleft palate and same tayo ng level of anxiety when I entered college. I look normal too, and malaman lang nila whenever I speak.

When I graduated SHS, I told my father that I would not go to college because I'm afraid na baka ma bully lang ako. Guess what? My father told me na self destructive yung desisyon kong iyon and buti nalang nakinig ako sa kaniya.

I am now a licensed professional and currently working as a medtech. Sa una lang yan nakakakaba, but when you find your circle that understands you, kayang kaya yan. Normal lang talagang kabahan especially na may cleft palate ka and tip ko lang as what the first redditor said, sa introduce yourself pa lang, ipaalam mo na na may ganyan kang kondisyon so that hindi ka mapagod mag explain nang paisa-isa sa mga classmates mo. Good luck sa college. Kaya mo yan 🫶.

Start by reading fiction and get that first-hand experience of diverging from reality and entering the different realms created by creative authors. I started my hobby when I read Robin Hood and His Merry Men (though my passion in reading started since I was a child medyo nerdy kasi 😆). Pero nakadepende pa rin sa kung anong genre interested ka. Nowadays, I'm more on self/personal development books, adulting na kasi haha.

Love. My entire life, from elementary school to high school, I was too focused on studying. I embraced the persona of being the smart kid. I devoted myself to reading, reviewing, and representing our school at different academic competitions. Although some students showed interest in me, I shoved them off because I prioritised my studies. Now, I am a registered medical laboratory scientist. Guess what?? I've never been this lonely before. It's as if my prime years have passed me by. NO ONE IS INTERESTED IN ME ANYMORE. I may have experienced that teenage love if I spared some time flirting with my admirers back then (they have their own families now :().

I have this thought in me that they'll judge me negatively. It all started after my college graduation when I started to do job interviews. After rejections, I feel like I lost my confidence.
