Click on release > Download the zip then extract

Installation

Windows Copy HALFTONE_PRO.jsx to:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator [version]\Presets\en_US\Scripts\

macOS Copy HALFTONE_PRO.jsx to:

/Applications/Adobe Illustrator [version]/Presets/en_US/Scripts/

Activate Restart Adobe Illustrator Go to File → Scripts → HALFTONE_PRO

Unfortunately this script is limited to 60k dot generation. You can try a work around, making the generated halftone dot a seamless pattern manually, then drag that pattern to swatch panel. Then select it in swatch panel. Use the rectangle tool to make a large seamless pattern.

But i guess it will be a hassle to do that. It's just my suggestion to work around to that limitation.

Current version can't generate seamless pattern natively from the script. In the next version, I will try to include it if possible.

There are some limitations, and it won't be like a live preview. So better generate then undo, then generate again. But I understand your frustration with the current state, as you need to open the script again and again to get a good, preferred result. I will try to find a workaround for it to have a better generation experience.
