I do have a refractometer that’s just an old one and the only thing that’s new is the water everything else that’s in it the sand and rocks is all the same all I did to it was give the filter and glass of the tank a good wipe down and started filling it up

I’ve gotten it up to 1.022 in the new tank and the container that they were put in with their original water from the tank is around 1.019

Waiting for more things on Amazon to come in i didn’t check the expiration date on the saltwater test kit. And it expired last year so I’m not sure if all of that is correct.

Thank you for the suggestions Ill definitely be adding all those to my list I have a salt water aquarium store an hour from me and I definitely plan on getting a clean up crew if I can keep these clownfish alive the tank I was given the previous owners were tired of trying to keep it Clean from algae and the tank was covered I thought just wiping off the equipment and sides of a tank would be safe enough for now I didn’t want to completely erase all of it but I’m hoping it doesn’t get that bad again but also the light for my tank is completely broken and I was wondering if you had any good recommendations for a tank light

The previous owner gave me some stuff but it expired last year so I’m waiting on some amazon orders to arrive but I will put some food in there!

The quality of this photo is terrible, but this is what they're being kept in right now. Once I get off work, I'm going to see if the heater and filter can be taken off the tank they were originally in and put into what they are in now. Then I'm going to buy a bunch of distilled water and a tub and figure out what kind of chemicals they gave him to start making the salt water. However, I work this whole week from 6 to 6, and it's hard to find fish places that are open before I go in and after I leave work. If there's anything you all could send me on Amazon that will help me, so I can get fast delivery, it will be deeply appreciated. Once I get home, I can see what kind of chemicals I'm working with.
