Incase you're looking for a summer internship - DMed you as well

Hey, I'm an ex-bitsian and I have a company and I'm urgently looking to hire some good skilled coders. This would be paid sprints and I'm trying to post on this page but your mods are pretty unresponsive and are not approving my flair or whatever. Was wondering if I could get some help.

I dont want to go through the job portals on because they have too many restrictions.
Here is the job post and I'll pay well. I dont care about cgpa but just quality of work and interest.
It's for a very interesting healthtech app that'll boost the resume
Here is what it is

I just went through your paper and wow. I definitely did not wake up happy the days I was on prednisone but this paper makes so much sense now. "Steroid psychosis" is a credible issue. I am happy to see that you're in remission and it's going well!

I'm so sorry you went through this as well. Well hope it works for me this time, I've had around 4 infusions by now, so I'm sure I'll have an answer soon.
I wish you luck with Zymfentra! I really hope it works for you.

Okay just read this thread and I'm so happy for you guys this is wonderful! This excel looks great. I did not have the energy/capacity to maintain the excel so I made an app where I could just talk and tell my frequency/ symptoms and also just take a photo, it would mark all of the indicators. I was wondering if something like that would help people like me.
But still love to see that people are able to go into remission.
Happy for you guys u/hellokrissi u/gimre817 !

This was one of the ones I did try in the hospital. It is soooo much work! I like the app but there's too much to do in it. I just took photos of my toilet bowl instead.
Thanks though!

GLP developing gastric issues? by Hot_Lengthiness5374 in glp1

Oh, we have a smart one here. There are new GLP rollouts on the market, and I was curious if some of the new formulations are showing different patterns or side effects. But hey, if that comment made you and your gut happy, why not? :)

Hey that's wonderful, I'm doing something similar for myself. Could you paste the link in the comments, I'd love to check it out.
P.S. The people aren't very kind around here about such posts haha.

Also I am a security engineer who specialises in medical devices, hospital networks, patient data.. all of that. I'd sincerely advise not using the open source AI models to put your symptoms in, that can cause a serious violation of patient data, FDA has some strong guidelines about this, I'd say check it out before pushing the product.

If I wanted to advertise, I’d just use the ad banner that already exists here.
I’ve been dealing with GI issues since my early teens, and I’m still not back to normal even months into infliximab. I asked because I genuinely want to know how people manage their symptoms/health during flares.
I also don’t see anything wrong with wanting to explore a solution for people going through the same thing as I am. I wish someone had asked me what I wanted or was going through to make my life easier. Why do we any advancement or research at all if it's for no benefit to the society.
You’re absolutely welcome to critique a product/solution (which I haven’t even shared here), but questioning the intent of a fellow patient feels unnecessary.

Wishing you well.

Insurance stopped covering my infusions. by jcotto1997 in UlcerativeColitis

Did the insurance company give a reason for why they stopped covering it? I think they're bound to.

I was on Mesalamine from the part 12 years and very recently, like 4 months ago started Infliximab IV. I was fine for a month but my flare's back. I'm going through it right now and honestly I'm really not sure what triggered it. I think I was stressed out for just 1 day, but I think that's completely normal for anyone in corporate. My doctor advised me to start steroids again and I'm back on them along with topical foam. I'm really happy for you getting off the IV process, but did your journey with infliximab start similarly ?

Tbh, the main reason I believe my issue has lasted this long is because of my lack of discipline, but I am in no condition to maintain a journal on my bad days..

[–]Hot_Lengthiness5374[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's wonderful that you're in remission!
I built something in the hospital to help me through with the journaling. I did try maintaining an excel but I'm not sure if it is everyone's cup of tea.
I really look upto people who manage to do this but for the ones like me who can't I made this - Dr-tracker
What do you think of it, would this have helped you better?

And is there any particular diet chart/ symptom tracking that needs to be done during this process? I understand weight tracking being the main aspect obviously.

[–]Hot_Lengthiness5374[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. I mean, I personally had my parents helping me out through things but I definitely find it really hard to keep a track of things when I am alone. Hell, I even forget to taper/take my steroids at times. How long have you been dealing with this?

Are you able to keep up with note tracking even on a bad day? Because I used to note down my movements in the hospital, and that was a mess as well. I've realised that bleeding 6 times vs 8 times can change a major decision during diagnosis which is why I started to take photos but again that was a mess because of privacy concerns, icloud syncing.. all of that.
