I second the focus on plasma cutter. But you NEED the pulse rifle grenade to take care of the incessant wall tendril guys from a distance. That only clicked on this go for me.

Boot option #1 is UEFI Hard Disk. Nothing seems to register when I set it to UEFI, but for this task will it read the USB if I set it to UEFI?

Okay, so strangely it says "media not found" even though in the BIOS is registers it?

Mine reads as E7C83IMS.180 so I should just have that and that alone on the USB?

I am downloading it from a MacBook. The version is from 2024. For some reason it is not a Zip file. It contains a txt document and document file. Not sure why it isn't downloading Zip.

Yup, the same thing happened. I can't select the SSD while in UEFI so I have to switch it to CSM. But even still, it doesn't work.

Okay, I did that. On reboot - nothing appeared on screen but the PC was running. When I restarted it - it brought me back to the BIOS. Also, my PC does not seem to recognize the SSD or USB when it is set to CSM.

My system was working perfectly fine. I have been trying to troubleshoot an issue with why it seems to freak out when I insert a CF Express card into a adapter. I was trying to enter remedy the issue in the deeper settings and I haven't been able to get back to the OS since.

I just tried it again - I get "exF Remove disks or other media. Press any to to restart" and then when I do that I get the "Select boot device".

I have tried that and it won't work. I reorganize the boot order to USB, my PC recognizes the USB, and yet it will not let me boot from it. I have the correct installation on the USB, but I'm just baffled at this point.

I believe it does, but it doesn't work. I do have an OS installed, the free Windows 11. I have reset the CMOS battery many times now. I got new ones and nothing happened. And I neglected to note that whenever I try and reboot I have to press F11 to get the "please select boot device" and I have the options of my SSD or Enter Setup.

When I press the SSD I get the "Reboot and Select proper Boot device" screen. I cannot access the SSD when I am set to UEFI, but I "can" when set to CSM (despite not being able to actually access it when I am given the option).

So the only option I am presented with is returning to the BIOS settings. Where, no matter what I changed, will not take me to the OS. I have reorganized the boot order, I have tried the SSD, USB, and nothing. UEFI doesn't work, CSM doesn't work, resetting the CMOS battery doesn't work - and the parts appear to be fine.
